DO NOT WORK FOR DIDI AT PEAK TIME!

I took 15 minutes to pick up a DIDI client today, and waited another 6 minutes in peak time.

I tried to contact the client and told him where i parked. But the client didn’t even read my in-app message.

If the client is not show, i got nothing!

Not even a flat cancellation fee!!!

Because according to DIDI’s policy, if drivers go to the pick up location 5 minutes later than their expected time, there is no cancellation fee.

But you, of course, will take longer than normal to reach the pick-up location. That means you don’t deserve any compensation at peak time, if client is not show.

What is more, sometimes, when i just accept the DIDI trip, and then the DIDI app sends me a warning, and shows i am late. What? Are you kidding me?

If you are a DIDI driver, i believe you have the same frustrating pick up experience before.

At peak time DIDI don’t have enough drivers to go around, and they may give you another trip as early as you just start a trip. It means there is ridiculously unacceptable waiting time for DIDI client.

As i know, some of the clients don’t want to cancel the trip themselves, because it will trigger the cancellation fee. If you don’t know they may choose another app, you may waste your time to pick them up.

My experience for driving for DIDI is: DO NOT WORK FOR DIDI AT PEAK TIME!
